Building Terry’s House: Pappas Telecasting
Pappas Telecasting has joined in support of Terry’s House, helping to create a first-hand account of the benefits this new facility will bring to patients and their families at Community Regional Medical Center. The Terry’s House Special airs April 27 at 6 p.m. on KMPH Fox 26, launching a public campaign.
The network will also air a telethon on June 8 at 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Terry’s House will provide families of patients who are critically injured or sick a safe and secure place to stay while their loved ones heal. The 17,000-square-foot, two-story home will be walking distance of the main entrance of Community Regional.
The construction of Terry’s House has been made possible through the generosity of Tom Richards, CEO of The Penstar Group, and others such as Bank of America, Lennar Homes and Weber BMW. The goal of the campaign is to raise funds to build, equip and operate the home providing housing at low or no cost to families that qualify.
